The Ministry of National Education and Youth is modernizing and harmonizing practices in EPLEs

Context

To meet regulatory obligations and secure the financial function and its stakeholders, the Ministry of National Education and Youth (MENJ) chose Cegid for its new IT solution for budgetary, financial, and accounting management: XRP Ultimate.

This solution will, among other things, enable the modernization and harmonization of practices in EPLEs – 8,000 middle and high schools –

Objectives

The use of a school-specific database was ruled out from the start.

The MENJ aims to:

• ensure future users learn by practicing with the management tool through concrete cases
• provide user support in real work situations

The scope of the Change mission of Capgemini is to design and implement two training programs: in-person and e-learning.

Solutions

At the recommendation of Capgemini, the MENJ opted for K-STUDIO and K-NOW solutions.

Capgemini, in addition to videos and educational materials, produces 97 practical cases with K-STUDIO for in-person and e-learning training, and trains 130 national trainers who will, in turn, train local trainers.

Results

The training exercises and practical cases for the Cegid XRP Ultimate software are available online on the LMS of the MENJ. This allows managers and accounting officers to access them independently or as part of dedicated training sessions.
