Context
The banking group, which operates in 83 countries with over 310,000 employees and generates most of its revenues from its retail banking activities, is set to increase the efficiency of its customer-focused banking information system.
Against the backdrop of the IT merger following the acquisition of CCF, HSBC is setting up new IT platforms with the HUB project.
Objectives
Using an application simulator, train and coach 10,000 employees in the main business processes: credit, savings, wealth management, etc., prior to the roll-out of HUB, the worldwide web portal.
Solution
HSBC wanted a long-term training solution. The bank opted for hands-on training content in the form of simulated exercises produced with K-STUDIO.
Results
HSBC has trained 10,000 employees from 70 different populations.
To date, the Training Department maintains the 200 business processes carried out in the form of simulations to onboard new employees and offer recurrent training to the different populations.
